A calming but challenging yoga practice on stand-up paddle boards floating on the clear blue sea in the bay of Niasca.
We meet at the beach for an introduction and then take our SUP boards: together we will paddle off sea and attach to the buoy to stay stable in the current.
You will be guided through a practice that starts slowly, letting you get used to the floating surface. You will then move into an easy flow and end with relaxation. SUP yoga engages the core muscles and strengthens various muscles that wouldn’t necessarily be used in a ground practice. Moving from pose to pose requires intense focus to keep the board steady and stay on it.
Sky above you, sea beneath you, surrounded by nature… What could be more relaxing?
